A satellite of the World Manufacturing Convention, the Low Altitude Economic Development Conference was held in Wuhu, China, from 5 -7 September 2025. Pico delivered comprehensive activation services, encompassing professional conference management, commercial exhibition operations, and full designing and constructions. The extensive effort successfully transformed the 1,000-plus sq. m. conference space into a milestone gathering for the global low-altitude economy.
Insight
By leveraging its end-to-end event activation capabilities, Pico created a conference ecosystem encompassing external hall branding, speaking venues, breakout rooms, press meetings and an outdoor exhibition park. The result was a seamless experience that delivered on the event’s themes of ‘Innovation’ and ‘Safety’, as well as the client’s requirements to convene, exhibit, demonstrate, lead and practically apply. The event also leads the globalisation of China’s low-altitude economy market, linking it with partners in ASEAN and the Middle East.
Solutions
Conference Hall
To satisfy the ‘convene’ requirement, the team provided a suite of halls, break-out rooms, and a meeting management service. LED walls, AV systems and intelligent lighting were engineered to support more than 15 keynotes, forums and speeches. Attendant stewards and stage managers provided real-time guidance to speakers and delegates to ensure that every session was on schedule. Recognising the linguistic diversity of conference-goers from ASEAN and the Middle East, Pico deployed a multilingual digital platform that synchronised agenda, transcripts and collateral in real time.
Outdoor exhibition
The exterior precinct fused ‘exhibit and demonstrate’ into a single integrated experience. Themed exhibition zones were created for fixed-wing aircraft, drones, eVTOL and aviation hardware from Honeywell, DJI, Joby and others. Drawing inspiration from real-life scenarios, Pico designed demo spaces in which brands could perform practical demonstrations of their logistics, delivery, rescue and tourism offerings.
Result
The 2025 Low Altitude Economic Development Conference successfully drew participation from over 70 relevant brands and more than 40 institutions from around the globe.
