A new look for both the trusted Delmon Poultry Company brand and its flagship Farm Chicken product line were unveiled to the public at a VIP-studded event in May 2017. For the Pico team, the challenge was to ensure that the launch would soar like an eagle.

Concept development

Pico’s responsibilities extended from event and press conference management to design and production of the venue’s décor, to design and production of event collaterals and gifts. The team began by conceptualising the key elements of the launch event, including a striking entrance feature with a 2.5m revolving 2D logo. Once inside the Crowne Plaza Hotel venue, guests would be treated to the even more dazzling sight of an illuminated 3D version of the logo incorporated into the stage set.

Execution

The stage set consisted of a 21x5 metre modular deck with custom wood skirting, built-in steps, recessed LED lighting, and P4 LED screen panels mounted on truss structures. In addition to this event centrepiece, extensive modular partitions and various free-standing structures were created to further brand the venue and carry welcome signage.

Highlights of the event programme included a dramatic storyboard recreation of Delmon Poultry by a professional sand artist. The new logo, meanwhile, was revealed with a spellbinding Kabuki drop. Pico’s management of every aspect of the launch ensured that visitors’ attention was firmly on the star of the show – the Delmon brand itself.
