The Brief

For the second year in a row, the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibition Authority (BTEA) sought to organise an awards ceremony to recognise organisations and individuals that set the ultimate standard for hospitality and travel. The ceremony itself needed to be vibrant and stylish – a testament to Bahrain’s position as a destination of choice with the best hotels, restaurants and cafes in the region.

Creative/Execution

The team focused on creating a stylish atmosphere for the ceremony, accentuated by an elegant design that kept in mind the distinguished guests of this prestigious event. The event design itself featured a main stage with a big screen to clearly project the list of nominees and winners. Two performance platforms on either side of the main stage were built for the entertainment acts, a showcase of home-grown Bahraini talent. An impressively high-tech lighting system added further value to this glittering event.

The stage backdrop was created using customized curved stage decks in an MDF-clad wood frame combined with a fixed-wave vertical wooden column to complete the modern look.
